Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 July 2026
These terms cover this website (crystor.com). They are deliberately short, because the site does little: it describes Crystor and links to downloads and source code.
1. The software is governed by its license, not these terms
Crystor's core is open source. The license that ships with the code (in the repository and with each release) governs your use of the software, including its warranty disclaimers. These website terms don't add to or override it.
2. Website content
This site and its content are provided "as is". We aim for accuracy but make no warranty that the information here is complete, current, or error-free. Descriptions of features reflect the current release and may change between versions.
3. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of this website. For the software itself, the license's terms apply.
4. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the site. That's it.
5. Intellectual property
The Crystor name, the keyhole mark, and the content of this site belong to Cryptographic Storage Corporation. The source code is available under its own license in the repository.
6. Changes
We may update these terms as the site grows. The "last updated" date above will change when we do.
