Crystor

For privacy-first individuals

Your cloud can hold your files without reading them

Files in Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive are readable by the provider. Crystor encrypts every file on your device first, so what syncs is sealed data: your cloud keeps doing the storage and loses the ability to look inside.

Encryption usually makes files dumb. Crystor indexes everything on your device, so search, tags, and AI answers keep working while nothing readable ever exists server-side. The format is open and published, so you are never locked in.
